One of my fellow moderators suggested that some simple rules should be posted. He's right!
(I still stand by "Don't be an Asshole")
1. No malicious name calling, 1a. Be genuinely happy for other people's success and hard work 2. No passive aggressive behavior (i.e., say what you mean) 3. No perpetual naysaying for the sake of naysaying, meaning, have a point and move on 4. Err on the side of caution and tolerance when you post 5. Be respectful 6. Do not covet your neighbors wife 7. No bashing of other's music or musicianship 8. No arguing with moderators 9. No trolling or baiting other posters 10. If you have a relationship with a vendor/company, make it known i.e. no ringers 11. No politics 12. No passive aggressive or disparaging comments from competing manufacturers
Yes, these rules are subjective, ultimately, I will have to decide when that line has been crossed. Obviously, I will allow tons of leeway - but I guess there have to be rules.
BUYING AND SELLING 1. All transactions must be completed outside of Realgearonline. 2. Realgearonline assumes no responsibility for transactions initiated between advertisers/posters and users.

Is the Sta Level any good?

Is the Sta Level any good? I don't think so, it's just a flavor-of-the-month. If you have one, I would be willing to do you a special favor. Before it devalues your other equipment, you may send it to me for disposal. PM me for my address, postage is on you, of course.

Actually, you should send it to me for "proper" disposal, sending it to LesC is just to risky to the audio environment that i hold so dear. besides, i heard he poaches these for the ivory...tube....sockets...., this is why i'm willing to inflict myself with such a burden, it's for the good of all man kind! I assure you "proper" disposal will be handled in the most responsible fashion, i'll even arrange to have it picked up! Unlike LesC, i'm "HONESTLY" here to help

Even better for the environment is to ship it to me...what if I " cover my neighbours wife". I actually don't want any neighbours wife as I'm very happy with mine!

I think covering your neighbour's wife might be even more objectionable than coveting her.

Can I add, that if you have a commercial interest in a product, you simply disclose that fact.

I would second that. The planted folks at GS is why I haven't been over there in lifetimes. I know at least one who's made it over here...I actually would've thought that would be in the pages of sign up legal-eze we agree to already. It's just--well, it's at BEST giving away free advertising....but, at worst, it's polluting a user community's conversations. So long as someone puts in their sig "Product Specialist AudiVana Inc"....everyone APPRECIATES them taking the time to help. But, random Joe...happening to testify to the awesomeness of AudiVana's products--or steering them in a direction that makes AV's products do better than others...without any designation is simply underhanded and devalues the community.

That is exactly why I told people that I endorse Yamaha/Steingberg in that PT/Cubase discussion. I would still use their products even if I wasn't. With other companies that I am a fan of, I try to be as helpful as possible at letting people know about them. Especially if they fly well below the radar. I endorse many products, thankfully, and will always give an opinion and help on the use of them, since they are what I use and what I know well.

It might be good to have them listed in your signature so people know ahead of time when you mention one of them. I imagine Radial and Miktek? I think I've seen you wearing shirts/hats or something in your videos.

Chrome gives me: The server at randykohrs.com can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. I can search and find your site by google, but that's the error it gives when you click on the google link too. The studio page loads fine though.

The server at randykohrs.com can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network.

I can go to it from 5 different Mac and PC sources here at the studio and home, it is mobile phone optimized and a GoDaddy site that should work everywhere. I will have to research this more. R
