Nice! Where you located and now long was shipping? Am in Norway. Shipped on 31 March, received on 9 April. But there are some easter holidays in the middle, both in Germany & Norway, that may have slowed it down a bit.

Mine showed up a couple of days ago and am half way through the build. I instantly regretted only ordering one.

It was a fun build! Three pieces of advice:
If you want to make a black version instead, read the instructions at the end about component values before stuffing the boards.
If you're good with not having four solder joints properly cleaned, you might consider not adding the CL14 and CH23 caps until after the pots and switches, because then you can rest the board on the components while soldering.
…and finally the embarrassing one: There are two ICs with names starting THAT1 and ending in 46. There is a number in the middle which is NOT the same.
So I'm waiting for a couple of components before I can report on testing.

My first kit is missing a resistor I think. Will see if the second has it but oddly isn't even listed on any of the bags.

Yeah a few places sell them, but you'll see that stock is 60pcs.. Not enough for any kind of production. I bought dual and quad revlogs here in the USA from mouser but they would only order a few dozen at a time and it took 6 months to get them. Quote from Bourns about them: 10K minimum order for non-distributor, would take 26-52 weeks to deliver. Yeeeouch. But I see the Link design doesn't implement the variable HPF/LPF so they're not using the triple gang pots. Smart, but the SSL EQ's most valuable sections are those variable filters IMHO.

I tend to agree on the filters for sure. But you can easily change the frequency via a few resistors. But still would have been sweet with the variable. I regret not getting a Stam SSL Eq when they were like $400 for a dual rack unit.

Yes indeed. I thought I was missing that one too haha. As did we all… I believe the logic here (and it's a good one, I think) is to group the resistors together in a way that makes it nearly impossible to mix up values even if you don't read the values, just sort them into "well, there's four of this one, so it must be a 4k75" piles on your table one bag at a time. I think this must be one of the most neatly prepared builds I've done. So if just the replacements for the two That ICs I fried arrive, I'll even be able to audition it.

Yes, that's a problem. I thought there was another one with a decent stock, but can't seem to acces the mouser site right now. EDIT: back online, it was this one: www.mouser.be/ProductDetail/BI-Technologies-TT-Electronics/P092N-FA15CR50K?qs=56eeD6vBg8jAz2KK64p9Bg%3D%3D A stock of more than 1700 pieces, starts to look decent. Another way of avoiding the triple gang pots would be to use the filters from the 82e02, they use only double gang 50k rev log pot and double gang 10k linear pot. But link audio indeed choose for the non-variable filter, strange.

But link audio indeed choose for the non-variable filter, strange. Considering this is a 500 module that already has 10 pots, 5 switches and 3 LEDs on the faceplate, is it really that strange?

You know, that was something i only realised after posting it Probably just because of space reasons indeed. SSL doesn't have the filters on their 500 version either. So let me rephrase it: But link audio indeed choose for the non-variable filter, which is a pity. But still a very nice kit.

Finished building one last night. Wasn't too bad. If anything the "mechanical" assemble side of it is the most challenging part or what I'd imagine most would struggle with. But overall nice kit. Try and finish the second tonight and then calibrate them.

But also a PITA to attach. Not my favorite design by far but it works. PCBs are really nice and the parts are sorted mostly quite good. I honestly haven't got to use them yet. Im in the middle of a mix that is dialed in and just in the tweak stages so no need for them at this time. But the calibration process was easy in REW. I am excited to use them.

Keep an eye out for that one pesky resistor which will be all alone in a separate bag with the trimmers.
