Something changed...I’m getting all these ads from ProBoards, not RGO. And all these banners asking me to turn off my pop up blocker. Kinda cam out of now where and doesn’t se to be anything music related or RGO related.

I noticed the ads as well. Definitely new. But, I mean, I’m not pissed off and going to leave or anything. If JK has to allow ad to pay the bills, who am I to complain. I dig this forum more than I hate ads.

The adds pop up every few months, then Johnkenn needs to reup some ad-free plan. I'm sure it'll be back to normal after a few donations roll in. |

I'm feeling very un-whiny about the ads because I use this forum mostly for free and I'm not gonna get pissy about what needs to happen to keep it afloat because why would I be so sensitive and delicate good Lord.  |

I have no problem with commercial ads.
I donate here every year.
My issue is with the “public service” BS announcements telling me to “stay home” and all that rubbish.
Like I say … I come here to get away from all that.
It does seem to come from ProBoards

Again - I pay to keep ads that I haven’t approved off the boards. If you’re not signed in, you won’t receive that option. I’m amazed at how many people use this board without even bothering to sign up for a profile.

I still don’t see ads, but I think I see what’s up...
I pay monthly for a certain tier of ad blocking. It’s a graduating scale that costs more for more “ad-free” page views. Apparently there has been more traffic this month than I have paid for in the past...I’ve now paid for more so you shouldn’t see it anymore.

I did notice that for some reason it was set to remove ads for guests...maybe that’s why I’ve been running out lately. I’ve changed that back to where it’s only ad free when you sign in.
