Ward which op amps do you have in your qp5? Well, they're stock and the only numbers on them are 5R60.

That’s probably matt @iaa ‘s own M2 op amp then. I know you can get others as well

Installed, commissioned, and in service! So do you have any hair left? Any pesky new addictions.? You know the common side effects of building and installing your first console.

Hello all, wow it’s been a year+ already? So many projects cooking, but the first album mixed and (almost entirely) recorded on the console is out today!
I have to say this may not be my finest hour of mixing, but it has nothing to do with the console which never failed me even in the hairiest moments of this very ambitious project. The entire album was recorded as basic tracks onto 8 track 1/4”, mixed to 2 track 1/4”, fully edited (razor blade) into a continuous piece of music, then dumped BACK onto the 8 track for guitar/vocal/synth overdubs and final mixing onto 2 track 1/4” again haha. The idea was to do something along the lines of the krautrock albums of the early 70s with a lot of experimentation and loops and loose jams spliced into a cohesive statement. Extremely proud of the results and the console definitely was my right hand!

Little late but I wanted to say.. Congratulations! Sound amazing, and great musicianship! This is right in the line with the sound I chased into owning some tape machines. Still love the sound.
