Still have to treat the adjacent room and build the rest of the drawers and drawer fronts.

And one more note, the IsoDoor. Incredibly heavy, installed it solo as well. Makes a huge difference in isolation when shut.

Sorry, one more additional note. Used the space behind the door and some lumber supports I had from our last garage repurposed as cord organizers. Turned out cool.

Well… no excuses now! You have the gear AND the room!
(Not saying you personally make excuses, just waxing philosophical).

thehightenor thanks, and yes, just for doing our music (Bat Lanyard). Looking forward to getting the 2nd room done but it's less pressing for now. Slow progress. Lexicon 224XL technically, but the thing is awesome. I need to send it to Beamish during some downtime. notneeson 100% hell yes, I totally agree. After over a decade of getting here there are no excuses left, ha. Working on the first couple of songs has been really incredible. drbill and thanks, man! I mentioned you when Jeff and I first got on the phone to discuss the project. I appreciate you mentioning him now and then and RGO for the forum. He's such a great person. Really enjoyed the process and when I sent him the IRs from the measurements (Earthworks M30 used with FuzzMeasure) he was super pumped. Commented that it was the best match to his estimations he'd seen in months. Always fun when everything ends up in a good place.

Looks great: well done, the angled false wall behind your rack gear is interesting, was there a room mode there ?

I nearly bought one myself, but in my part of the world there appeared to be no-one capable of servicing one! Anyway, your rooms are really great .... I showed them to my wife (I was hoping you'd say personal use only) .... it has strengthened my case :-)

Haha thehightenor, thank you and glad I could help! I understand though as my wife had to take a breath a couple of times during the build. It's a lot to "let happen" but in the end she loves the results and knows what it means to me to be able to create in the space. I did put a Murphy Bed early on in the second room so we would at least have that still for guests. Slowly getting the rest of everything done. Love the 224 indeed. I need to get it to Beamish at some point this year to have it gone over and updated where needed to make sure it's good for years to come.

Looks great: well done, the angled false wall behind your rack gear is interesting, was there a room mode there ? The angles were just Jeff using pieces of the design of my last room which had walls at angles. I didn't have any math or science behind those though where Jeff's actually have a purpose and function. The width and spacing of his slats have a purpose in the whole room working together. The back wall diffusor was easy to make and kinda fun to assemble. I made it in sections and might take it town and paint it at some point when I have more time.
