Looks great! Am I correct in assuming that they are plug and play class compliant on Mac systems? It seems they only mention control software on windows.

This looks very interesting! Have been waiting for a decent interface with transformer pres and inserts. This one even allows for auditioning inserts in and out great! What is everyones experience with BLA gear?

Looks like BLA have now released a full sized interface. I mean it's a full 1u rack mount, but I don't know if I'd call it "full sized" - I'm counting 4 in/4 out + SPDIF and ADAT expansion ports... most 1U rack units have at least 8 in/out. My Orion 32+ has 32in/34out (before the ADAT, MADI, SPDIF expansion ports...). Definitely full sized!

What is everyones experience with BLA gear? I must honestly say despite many seem to like what they are doing, I have only bad experience with their gear and customer service (maybe wrong to say bad as i never received any service despite several attempts). I think I would personally look into MOTU 828(2024) and Arturia 16rig in this case in this category and price range.

Looks cool. Good parts. No junk. No Jamicom or worse… Lelon caps.

raddistribution: Thanks for this release. I really love the tone and quality of my Revolution 2X2 and was looking forward to your next interface. I currently have to use my 2x2 via SPIDF to another interface just to get low latency performance on a Mac. Is there any plan to offer a low latency driver for Mac like you do for PC so that I don't need another interface to use this at low latency? I also asked this on the purple site.

Really love the attention to detail here especially the analog inserts after the real-deal preamps. Instantly in a class of its own.

Is this the same conversion that our fearless leader Johnkenn was raving about?

Still a little but light on analog I/O for what I was hoping. Keeping my eye on this though!

Probably a little light on analog io because they sell an adat expander.

The problem with interfaces is one man’s full sized I/O is useless to someone else. my guess Is RAD means full rack space.

But they are putting actual output transformers (Edcor) in there so that will definitely take up some real-estate.

Also explains my confusion when I only saw 3 cirrus logic codecs 2in/2out.

If you make a unit with more I/O I'd be very, very interested. Even if it means going 2U.

They changed to cinemag with the MK111. I think the 500 series is still Edcor though.

Having 2 Auteur preamps on board is a big deal. I had the original version (MK1) for a while. They had some girth but were still fairly fast and punchy.

"Auteur preamps deliver the best of both worlds of classic preamp designs — at lower gain levels, you get the fast attack of American-style preamps; a fantastic compliment for drums and rhythm guitar. Crank up the gain a bit, and you’ll get the warmth and color of classic British preamps, which can be particularly flattering to vocals and bass."

Is this the same conversion that our fearless leader Johnkenn was raving about? Yep, same conversion and analog design but also taking advantage of the higher voltage rails
