I'm looking into the possibilities of using my console as a control surface for Reaper 64 Bit. The console has:
2x 8 way TDIF inputs/outputs
S/PDIF inputs/outputs
AES/EBU input/output
Wordclock output
MIDI in,out,thru.
The interface has S/PDIF input/output, is this enough to interface the console to my PC or is MIDI also required on my PC interface?
Thanks.

Wouldn't you have to use some form of HUI communication, I didn't see a USB or anything listed. If so, you'll have to have midi going into and out of the console to the PC for it to talk and receive.

If all you need to do is get midi data in and out of your PC that'll work.

You can find a cable similar to that shown, without the name brand on it, for about ten dollars on ebay. ( even cheaper way out )
