OK as I have mentioned in passing I spent about a week and 1/2 in the hospital recently well here is the story. A Number of weeks ago some idiot ran over my big toe with one of those Bird Electric scooters while riding illegally on the sidewalk, no they didn’t stop. Well other than some mild pain I really didn’t notice, the burns have pretty much screwed the nerves in my feet. So about 2 weeks later I started thinking I was having a pancreatitis attack and got myself admitted to the hospital. Well I was having a pancreatitis attack brought on by the fact that I was Becoming septic because my toe was infected. On the 17th a ortho surgery resident walks in my room and tells me we need to amputate the big toe. OK this is serious, but I have a good Friend who lost his leg above the knee to MRSA so in comparison big toe no big deal. Hour later the attending walks in and says they are taking all 5 toes, 4 hours later they did. So here I am after 2 weeks of IV antibiotics including an allergic reaction to one including a case of hives that had me looking like a culturally inappropriate KC Chiefs fan. I’m home can’t put weight on my left foot for six weeks. They wanted me to hop on one foot using a walker. That sucked so I ordered a cheap Walmart wheelchair that I’m getting around in. It SUCKS but I’m getting around. Don’t worry my friends I’m stupid & stubborn, it’s why I’m still here. People around me are passed that I keep refusing help, but that’s how I roll and I have to so I can do it when nobody’s around

Since my lawyer is here somewhere, I’ll let him explain why no. For cutting off ALL your toes when only one was infected?
I'd suggest the opinion of another lawyer.

No they were all infected John. The resident only thought one the attending real MD surgeon decided all 5! They were infected and I would rather he took 5 toes then rather than needing to cut higher. While I respect you as an AE, not so much as a MD or Lawyer.

As an adjunct to that, fellas, Eric calls me from the hospital and constantly makes me laugh even though he's the one needs cheering up. ericn, my friend, you are absolutely awesome and should never have to suffer like this. Learning from others, I'll try and restrain my inner Dr. Nick and Lionel Hutz. LOL Get well soon, brother.

But seriously folks thanks for all the well wishes. Now Ward ask BradD about the time I’m in the hospital with a pancreatitis attack and walking him through QCing every function of the Soundcraft Ghost he just bought over the phone while taking hits of phyntnol from my PCA machine. OK maybe I am a little nuts, there was also the time I mixed an album from my Hospital bed😳

I'm glad it's just the toes, I'm glad you're here to tell about it. I'm sorry it had to happen. One of the best football kickers in the NFL of all time had no toes on his kicking foot - career change? Get well soon.

Nah I Ryan Succup current Tampa Bay kicker was neighbor, kickers always get a decent contract then get cut so the QB can get more $$! Besides I want to be JJ Watt when I grow up, it’s the inner Cheesehead!
