Great demo video for the new Trillian update - some pretty impressive sounds but great presentation by Greg Phillanganes. I do have and use an early version but don't think I've ever made it sound anywhere near as realistic - need to add some better keyboard chops.

Greg is awesome! Straight up groove, chill, vibe, soul, funk he got in spades. Great demo.
A new comprehensive bass package is always welcome. Personally, I would rather play real bass and couple is with synth bass. Still, aligning everything is a lot of work if you're being precise.
Being able to get a great bass sound from samples coupled with a synth bass from a copied midi file would be pretty cool in pop production. Nothing new, but improvement in sound quality. Sometimes evolution is better than revolution.

Haha!! Great demo video. Greg is a trip. Kinda wishing it was "2.0", but the price is certainly right for the upgrade....

It's free, who can complain.
I love Trilian it's a whole heap of fun, not that it sounds anything remotely like a bass player :-)
If I need real bass - I reach for a real bass - crazy I know.
