The most important element of playing the "Reaper" riff is making sure that open G, on the third string, is in tune. It's the sun the planets revolve around, and if it's sharp or flat, the riff will be unlistenable.

The C, third fret 5th string, appears in the Fmaj part of the riff. I use the ring finger, I tried using the pinky, you could. Whatev's more comfy. |

Ok while this cool and all, if I was going to post something like this knowing that you are indeed accessible on the internet I think I would first send a message saying “Don we are going to do this thing with Reaper and would love any help and cooperation.” Because having the guy who wrote it gives credit, legitimacy drives traffic and you will probably pick up some tidbits that the diehard fans are going to love. |
