April 2nd.
I suspect many here will have friends or family on the spectrum or may even be themselves. I hope you will think of them today.
Personally, my 16 year old son was diagnosed ten years ago. It’s been a challenge, but he is doing quite well at the moment. He has become soccer mad lately, particularly with Canada making the World Cup. We’re in Toronto, and he saw several matches featuring the Canadian side. We’re in a tough group for Qatar though, so we’ll see how it goes.
Anyways I hope that those friends and family on the spectrum are doing well. Things have improved a lot, even in my sons lifetime, but there is still much more awareness that could be raised, etc.
So, wishing you all a happy World Autism Day.
Cheers, Geoff
