Hey everyone! Just stumbled upon this thread, and gotta say, Rick's rant on TikTok music culture and labels sounds like a gem. I can't believe I missed it when it first came out. It's always fascinating to hear different perspectives on the evolving TikTok landscape. By the way, I was recently browsing the web and came across some info on how to get instant TikTok views. If you're looking to boost your TikTok game, you might find it helpful. Oh, and I'm new here. So excited to be part of this forum and chat with all of you!

I agree with Rick's Rant about the way the Music business use to be and what's happening now. Well the fact is, nothing is the way it use to be. The fact is that musicians have always been the ones to screw themselves and people take advantage of that. Remembering, playing the free audition night while they were charging at the door. And if you wouldn't play for free someone would.
What if everybody stopped posting their videos or pulled their songs off streaming services (giving up a few peanuts) Where would these companies be?
It's time artists stop bending over and STAND UP.

You think the company that paid for Springsteen’s catalog and the VC behind them is going to pull the catalog? Nope their investment is based on streaming rates. Understand Something like the film / TV writers strike works partly because other unions Homer the picket line. We were going to see a huge jump in unscripted TV till the guys at SAG realized they had the ball and authorized a strike that would overlap, because they represent the performers in unscripted as well.
