Very long story short... Just got back from the hospital. Very VERY fortunate to have survived. Went into Emergency Sunday, due to Diabetic complications. Touch and go for around 3 Hours. Long term prognosis is now excellent. (So more bad jokes over time ) All you RGO Brothers are an important part of my life. Thanks for your friendship. Chris

Why does the risk of heart attack go up 10X... At the end of your hospital stay?
You see the bill. Chris

Kinda funny true story. So I'm moved to a regular hospital room. One of the early blood pressure tests, were a bit high. Nurse says "Probably stress from being in the hospital" "Since you're not home". (Light goes on ) Hey, I'll check out the latest at RGO. Voila! All blood pressure checks good after that! Chris

So pleased to hear that you are out of the woods Chris!
I was diagnosed Type 2 Diabetic 13 years ago, and although you have to change your diet and be a lot more careful about what you eat, it can be managed. Not easy though.
Stay strong!

Home nurse just left and said... Real possibility over time, I may be fine just being on the pills (No insulin injections) eventually. Chris

What did the Nurse say to the patient, who refused her help mending his cut arm?...
"Fine suture self!" Chris
