I didn't really think this would sell "online" as its a physically big purchase. I had one guy want me to ship it to Poland! But I did have a lot of interest here, so I thought I'd post a price reduction in case anyone near Michigan has interest. You can wait a long time finding one in your area, and the ones on EBay are thousands more. So in case anyone is near enough and interested enough I'm reducing the price to $3200 for a real, genuine 1963 Hammond B-3 (considered one of the best years by the Hammond connoisseur).
Since I currently own 3 Hammond B-3's I thought I'd let one go. This is the best sounding of the bunch, but also with the most cabinet nicks. It was a road warrior, and has been continuously played and professionally serviced. Everything works great!
1963 custom Hammond B-3 for sale! This Hammond B-3 sale does not include a Leslie speaker. It is a customized Hammond B-3 console which includes the following:
-1963 Hammond B-3 console (no foam!!! which saves you up to $2000 to have it removed which is necessary for the later consoles starting in 1964)
-original B-3 pedal board
-original B-3 bench
-Adustable percussion volumn resistor (internal) to set your percussion level in addition to the "loud/soft" tab setting
-Leslie control unit. Fully wired for a Leslie cabinet with the Leslie control interface and a vintage Choral/Tremolo switch mounted. It would be "plug and play" if you add a 122 style Leslie.
-Leslie mounted vintage speed control switch
-extremely rare Nova Bass IV unit wired in to the lower manual for synth bass sounds on the lower manual
This Hammond B-3 has been regularly played and maintained so it works perfectly. It is not one of those put in storage with many issues due to sitting unused in storage. It has updated wiring. It was originally a "road warrior" so there are nicks and scratches in the case. But it is one of the best sounding B-3's I've played. Incredible feel and sound! I have it hooked up to a 122 so you can play it and see for yourself. However, I'm selling the B-3 console but not the Leslie. You can either add a Leslie speaker or plug into something like a Neo Ventilator which is an incredible Leslie simulator.
This is the REAL DEAL! An original Hammond B-3 with custom features impossible to find elsewhere! $3500
