His experience with that manager certain reads like hell on earth. He even goes on to say that working with other companies has been great but really calls out the one manager in particular. I've been following this for a while. It certainly reads like the manager is playing sides against each other. It also seems very strange that a game that has a budget of probably 50-100 Million would be trying to screw over a composer who stood to make a few hundred thousand (hourly+credits) at MOST. There's something else to this that we don't know. There's no reason for a gigantic company who made 500 Million on the game would fight a single composer over a few months' work.

Big tech companies can be bureaucratic, but it puzzles me that such a big project is handled like this. Would it not be relatively cheap to secure such an importan part as the music by handeling the composer more decent working conditions (contracts and better share of information)?
I haven’t tried the more recent games from Id Software or Bethsoft, but the old 90’s titles of Doom and Elder Scrolls Daggerfall are personal favorites of mine. Great games with great music.
