YouTube Is About To Delete Independent Artists From Its SiteSo, basically, they put a shitty deal on the table and said take it or leave it? Or are the majors paying them to squash the independent competition? How about YouTube does something about the millions of copyright infringements on its site first?

Well, it was bound to happen eventually I suppose. It's hard to run one of the largest websites in the world without some kind of income. Advertisement just doesn't work for revenue for websites of that magnitude.

Advertisement just doesn't work for revenue for websites of that magnitude. Well, I guess there's nothing wrong with that, but at least pay your content providers fairly. And stop the upload of unauthorized music and video material that infringes copyright. (Not talking to you personally, Svart, but you know what I mean, right...)
