Hi,
I got a Stam SA4000-5 MK2 (500 series) delivered a couple of weeks ago, and after trying it for some hours, it does have a bit of character, a very subtle vintage tone that plugins don't have. The thing is, for the stuff that I mix, especially electronic tracks, a more "boring" or clean compressor might be better. I'm not entirely sure. But I'm curious to see if a cleaner compressor would be better for me without the entire selling/buying dance.
This might be an unusual trade, because this is a 500 series compressor and the AS is a rack thingy. But maybe someone with an AS comp is curious about the DBX 202C Gold Cans replica tone?
I'm open to both temporary or permanent trades.
Thanks!
