Ala Chaplin/Keaton/Lloyd/Laurel and Hardy... Thoughts on the great ones?
If this morphs into later things related, that's OK too.
Like Jerry Lewis' or Mel Brooks' later continuance/tributes of this comic lineage etc. Thanks, Chris

That Buster Chaplin fella was a much better chameleon than Oliver Keaton.

No wonder it's rare! And seldom well done. As the silence could be deadly. Unless there's a meating of mimes. But I wonder... What microphones did they use for Silent Films? Voila! Back on topic. Chris

Heck, I'll play. Keaton was my favorite (with Harold Lloyd deserving an honorable mention). He's one of the rare silent film stars who almost seamlessly transitioned to sound (hope that's relevant, Eric ;-). That unaware character Keaton often played was perfectly supported by his uninflected drone of a voice. I'd guess that just about every mic from the beginning until the 1960s was used on that voice.
