Might be interesting--eventually. But that $3500 price tag is a mite rich for my blood

Jeez, I’d rather just have a conversation with somebody in person. Otherwise I’ve got enough shit to occupy my time. Maybe if I was 10 years younger this would peak my interest, but 40 hit in a way that makes me want to go back to simpler things.

That thing is gonna mess up my hair.....

These days I definitely put a movie on pause a couple of times for bathroom breaks.  What if this things throws up a virtual toilet right in front of me?  At such a time, it's important to know the difference between virtual and true reality.


All that aside, I'm generally with the majority opinion here, insofar as the use cases that are described.  But I can still see a future--perhaps not too far off--when physical computer monitors and some control surfaces could be supplanted by this technology. It would be something less than a fully immersive lifestyle device and more of a super-duper peripheral.

That was a great movie.   Too bad they had to rewrite parts of the ending bc Natalie Wood died while shooting it.
