This is just a fantastic guitar. A canon. I’ve had it for almost ten years now and it has opened up even more. I’m ONLY considering selling because i just don’t play enough anymore. I can write on anything, and i could use the sale of this to fund different stuff that could generate more income.
This is pre-VTS (cooked top) and many people including myself think it’s preferable. Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, Adirondack top. It has been played, so it has a few nicks here and there.
Honestly, you’re not going to find a better sounding example of a D28 than this guitar. I’m going to link my reverb listing here, but I’d be willing to sell to someone here for less. I’m the original owner and bought from Gruhn’s.
