I purchased this for a studio project that still hasn't come together, and since I've been laid off recently, it's time to move it along.
My R44 experience: I had owned a few R84s, which I also I love, but when I heard this, I knew I'd have to have it someday. Next to the Coles 4038, it's larger sounding and with more even response. It's more similar to the R84 in my experience, but just has a little more of everything. In sum, it's a force all its own. It's biggest, lushest sounding mic I've ever owned.
Condition is indistinguishable from new. Includes all original accessories, including mic, dust bag, and original vertical case.
