That said, at least the film industry is organized and united mostly to the point they can force changes with strikes and such. Unlike the music biz.

Go ask any of the pre rock and rollers about how it was in the old days, R&R killed the musicians unions. Why here in KC there was a separate black musicians union. All those big bands made scale.
