Anyone have and/or used one? I ordered one based on the vids online. Is it as good as it sounds online or what?

Definitely sounds like a winner, I've been getting back into guitar lately and I need a decent distortion pedal for prog rock/metal.

Should be here on Thursday. I'm hoping that it'll give my Bassman some balls without having to crank the amp to 9 or so. Also, hoping that it's good enough where I can feel comfortable about selling my Mesa Mark II and not regret it...doubt it though. Haha.

Also...note to self, learn how to play guitar. Ha. I'm a pretty poor guitar player. Can learn basic songs, play power chords and open chords fine, but not much beyond that. Maybe some day.

Just got this in. Really digging it. It's what I want a tube screamer to be, but isn't. Nice light drive with strong harmonic content that retains the clarity of the guitar. I'm really impressed so far.

that's a nice sounding pedal. i've got a harmonic percolator that I built but don't think it sounds as nice as the Saturn V.
the pedals that get much love in my studio are the hand built stuff. one being tyms pedals and another being recovery effects. they seem to not mess with the tone like most pedals do. most of the recovery effects pedals are aimed at sonic destruction which is awesome but they also have this one.

I got the Saturn V pedal last week, from the same place jcoutu1 got his. (Thanks Jesse!) I really like what it does, and the workmanship and quality inside is stellar. I used it on my stage rig last Saturday at the Ohio State Fair in Columbus. Put it last in my chain of drive pedals, set for very low drive and almost unity gain. Beefed up everything that came before it, and took the other pedals very well. It does a unique thing, it's thick but by no means dull. Sounds more like an amp than a pedal. Works great with the Steinberger. I left it on the whole show, and used less of my other drives, although it still sounded great when I'd step on all of them.

On fly gigs, I take a rack with an Engl 530 preamp, a Two-Notes Torpedo and a Quadraverb. The floor pedals go into the Engl, out to the power section (effect loop return) of usually a JCM900, then into the Torpedo for load and cab/mic IR. Then FOH gets a DI of that line level, another output feeds the Quadraverb, the output of that goes to two more DI's. The dry DI then goes out to the effect return of another Marshall and 4x12, which I use as a low volume stage monitor. I hear the Dry mono and Quadraverb stereo effects in my IEMs.
I run the Engl clean with just a little grit, and run the Marshall power section no louder than 4-5. Most of the drive comes from the floor pedals, and I've got five flavors to mix in, along with a Empress studio grade compressor I use occasionally.
When we use our own back line, it's the same front end, but I use our Crate Red Voodoo 150's, which sound better than the Marshalls.
