Bought this Alembic Bass a while back but never really played it. The strings were a heavy gauge and the action was too high for my liking. I decided to have it plexed and set up with light gauge Alembic bass strings. 13th Street Guitars in Huntington Beach, Ca. is the only flex station in SoCal. I told them " Set them up as low as they go" When I got it back, I fell in love with this bass. Light touch action with no buzz or rattle all the way up the neck. Im hooked, I'm going to take my Custom 2-1/2 octave Alembic Bass in next.

The first time I saw this thread I thought it about running bass through a Plexi. Then I realized it was about a different awesome thing that I’d experienced: sfguitarworks.com/the-plek/
