Geoff Yeah, it’ may sound cras but I think the death of my animals over the last 55 years have with a few exceptions have had more effect than that of humans. Probably because for the most part because it’s a far more intimate and judgment free relationship. |

Thanks guys spent the day visiting rescue groups / shelters because the other dog is depressed without her “puppy”. Of course a new Neighbor had to leave a note to tell us she was barking, well it didn’t help that they were pound nails in the wall all day! Hammering 80 dB on my side of the wall, peanut barking at 2ft 72 dB.

We had to do this earlier in November. It’s always sad. However, two weeks ago we rescued a new pup. Dogs are the best.

Hey guys if I m pissy combative or Elon Musk like over the next couple of days I apologize, Just had to put one of the dogs to sleep.
I had to put mine down over the 4th of july weekend.
I let him out like I always do, and while I was cooking breakfast, I heard him bark, then scream/cry. Went outside, there were two deer in the yard and one of them was stomping him to death. I chased the deer away, then I had to wait for over an hour at the only vet in town open with my little one yelping and crying as I hold his little bloody broken body wrapped in a towel. His cries still haunt me at times. It was the most horrible experience I had. I keep on saying to myself when I think of him:"He lived a full life with me and he is in a better place now". I had him for 17 years and 6 months. I still miss my little Sunchi.  |
