I have a really dirty facebook joke...but I don't think I should share it.
Yeah - this is the first time I had seen.

They are almost ready to ship. They were not happy with the noise floor on the units, they are designing a new additional board to improve on this aspect. This is they write to us in their last mail. They should ship in two weeks.

And the fire led to some delays as well from what I understand.
I've got the Stereo MEQP-1AS+ on order. Super excited about it. I just love how Stam melds faithful recreations with novel new features.
The "+" versions allow for selecting either solid state or tube output stages. This is going to be really sweet. And having the mid band from the MEQ just made it impossible to resist.

I love the MEQ. If you need more focused midrange control, buy that. If you need a full-range EQ with mid control, buy this.

I've never owned a Pultec...because I've always figured I'd want two...don't know why that sticks in my head differently than other EQ's...maybe it's always been that they were expensive. Anyway - something like this would could get me in the game.

stam Hey, I was stoked to get the final payment email for my SA76D-500, but then surprised that it was not a paypal link. You're using checkout.getnet.cl now? I guess I'm just paranoid that your email got hijacked or something since the change was unexpected.

Same. No communication about the change. I would rather use PayPal for the 6 months financing and limited protection, but if it helps Josh out to use the new payment system, then I’ll oblige. Though, I made final payment on Jan 11th and here we are March 15th…

Though, I made final payment on Jan 11th and here we are March 15th… Ah, the historical context is what it is but currently, let’s not forget recent city fires, the office closure, and the current stopping of new orders so they can deal with the backlog and get caught up and the email to clients about this. I don’t know anything about that financial change, but I like you would rather use PayPal.

the current stopping of new orders so they can deal with the backlog and get caught up and the email to clients about this. I remember the announcement at the beginning of the month that they were no longer taking new orders, but as of today you can still order everything (add to cart) on the Stam site. This is for all items whether in stock, sold out or "next batch" pre-orders.

Ya, I noticed that too, think they are goin into a que, as they work in backlog, hopefully those waiting get their gear soon.

I don’t know anything about that financial change, but I like you would rather use PayPal. It's all good, I'm not mad. I've got quite a few pieces from Stam, and he's always delivered, eventually. I am sympathetic to things beyond their control. I also received an email a month ago explaining that there were some noise issues they were trying to work out. This looks to be a really nice piece, so I'm being patient. But I'd be lying to say it doesn't make me nervous, especially with things happening beyond their control.
