Is this the best Clavinet clone you've ever heard? I never heard one i liked, this would be a killer studio tool if its for real clavinetclone.com/

nothing like the real thing. Original all the way. The syn is good but 2 dimensional in comparison. I think it's something about the way the transients smear.

I agree 100%, I owned 2 of these at points, this emu sounds as close as anything i've heard on video. I need to demo and hear it through my set up, I have no delusions it will match the real thing, in fact i guarantee it won't, I just hope it's close enough to use because i've never heard a clav emu that was. One thing i do know is i ain't dropping $5k or the square footage on a real clav i'll only record a few times a year

Clav is the one vintage keyboard I've never played but would love to sometime. I've used Sonic Couture's VI for the past several years and find it pretty nice, but I look forward to seeing more about this. Like Tony, I can't see paying 5-6K for an instrument that I wouldn't use a ton.

Sounds great: think it would be fine in a mix!
