This just seems bizarre.

It's for your own good, doncha know... security and all that. Just be grateful they even let us use their technology at all.

Did this ever get sorted? Cheers, Geoff They suggested some sort of forced firmware reset that I have to do with a second computer. Haven't had a chance to try it yet.

I haven’t had any issues (have not upgraded) but started getting some random popups about UAD security yesterday…

Closing the loop.
Anyone searching for this and still struggling to resolve, here is the resolution as confirmed by both Apple and UAD (and me).
Step 1: Deactivate "Find My Mac" Step 2: Install brand new Sonoma 14.7 (not publicized but it's there if you look for updates in System Settings, 15.0 will also work but I didn't want to risk further incompatibility) Step 3: Reinstall UAD software Step 4: Reactivate "Find My Mac" if desired
Seems that Deactivating Find My Mac resets some sort of system level firmware that allows you to install the OS update and allow the new update to successfully rebuild extensions. Anyway, if you're reading this... you found the answer!

Did you mean sequoia ?

No, although Sequoia also works I'm told. They released a 14.7 version of Sonoma I think in part to address this problem. I've never seen Apple do that before, release an update to an old OS but they did and that's what I'm using.

For anyone else looking, it showed up with the System Settings update options, just in a smaller print below the main OS update.

Yes, listed as other updates..
Still no pedal plugs, wierd they were there at first in ua connect, but never updated.
I launched a support ticket, big waste of time.

Pretty certain my problem is an incorrect ilok user name somehow embedded in my ua connect credentials, not certain how that happened.
Wonder how long it will take to hear from UA support: 1 day and counting.
