6-pack, 12ft GLS Audio TRS/TRS patch cables...$10...

I did a google search of RGO about GLS and found someone thought they were better than Monoprice. My general  impression of them is they are decent, but probably not mogami, etc., quality.

Decent enough.  The cable itself is good, but the conductors tend to get twisted inside the insulator if you wrap them around your arms too many times.  The connectors are generally better than a lot of chinese cables, but they're generally prone to breakage at the solder joint as most "old-style switchcraft" style connectors are.

I got mine this past weekend.  I paid $11.99+tax for a 10-pack. Except mine were XLR mic cables (I see your link is for TRS)   It was showing a really long delivery time, which made me think it would never happen, but then all of sudden they showed it shipped.  So you get 10 x 12ft cables.  Each has double velcro ties.  The XLR connectors were pretty tight (not falling off loose) but I was able to tighten them a little more.  The cable smells like Chinese rubber (which sometimes makes me think was someone smoking weed in here?) but after a couple days I don't feel like it's too bad anymore (it didn't really take over the room or anything).  I checked them all with a continuity checker and they are all good.

So are they "good" cables?  They are at least as good as the ~ $1.30 (after tax) per cable that I paid, sure.  Will they hold up under rigorous use?  Probably not.  I can tell you these are better than some low-cost cables I've had in the past (such as the Musician's Friend brand or cheap Hosa).  They are not molded connectors - they are real (knockoff) XLR connectors you can open and re-solder if needed.  I probably will use them more for live stuff (even though at 12ft they are kind of short) or maybe when I need a short cable run in the studio, but probably won't use them where I am setting up and tearing down all the time.  I usually prefer to make my own cables anyway but these were so cheap.

the cables I bought may have been a typo/mistake since they are selling a single 12ft cable now for $5.49ea (which is still pretty low, but not $1.20)

I’m not saying they are bad, just at some point the connector will be a problem on either side. They always fail or have a problem at the very worst moment. However I Eric N AM A TOTAL GEEK TO THE POINT THAT IN THE RACK NEUTRIK TO NEUTRIK SWITCHCRAFT TO SWITCHCRAFT & Amphional to Amphenal.

Like connectors just seam to work better, about a month ago in one of the Amp racks I was having problems with Neutrik to SW connection Pulled the Neutrik to Neutrik cable tried 3 others ( all test fine) put in a Neutrik to SW 2min before curtain and we had a connection. I got home decided this was a pretty simple problem to solve so I did. Yeah it’s going total geek, but I have known consultants who won’t spec gear unless it uses one brand or the other, the issue my crop op 1/2000 of the time but when you aim for seamless production you do what you have to😁
