You know this is what I admire about Avid and Pro Tools their control surfaces are amazing and very professional .... and very expensive of course. I Always think wow I'd love an S6 and a Dock etc - if I had that kinda money .... But then I watch a video like this on the Dock let alone the S6 (and this is just the walk through not even the 20 videos on how to actually use the Dock !!!!) .... and kcathedog I realise I'm really not an engineer at heart but a singer songwriter/ arranger/ producer. I think my hardware gear choices are the ones that make getting a great sound easy. I so admire the full time enginners who master Pro Tools and all the various control surfaces and can use them second nature - it's amazing to watch. |

So far, I have never kept a control surface, as they each require you to do things their way, so not as efficient as a mouse /trackpad. I’d rather buy better OB, but I still read controller thread’s!  |
