After seeing this I want to know where the Smart Harrison from the upstairs mix / drum room with 312 pres ended up.

Chris Mara and the CAPI guy (who's name I should know but escapes me) modded his MCI 428 to have both stock and CAPI 312s at the flip of a switch. It's a pretty cool idea, and works flawlessly.

Yeah a number of years ago I was looking for 312 cards & he told me he had put a bunch in the Harrison.

Now I wonder if the could get the Console that Willie Nelson/Waylon Jennings and the rest of the outlaws recorded on? AKA the "Free Willie". Chris

After owning a New Harrison in 1983, I'm not sure why anyone would want one?
Same goes for my MCI's, I had a 428, 536, and a 636, ....
Funny how things ideas, or memories change over time....

Well yeah, it was for all practical purposes an inline MCI. But I have fond memories of going out with ShowCo’s Alive4 when the 8 bus came out & the 4 was part of shall we say the “C” rig. Loved the EQ and filters.

The EQ is weirdly resonant and gross. For all the talk of it being legendary by the current Harrison, I’d rather use any number of decramped or upsampled digital or cheap 500 series analog eqs
