Hi all,
So I recently purchased a new Hamptone stereo PSU for my pair of KM54s, but found out when it arrived that I need a 6pin (mic side) to 5pin (PSU side) cable, not the 6pin vintage cables I have. Does anyone make a new version of this I could buy? Any issues I might encounter with this kind of cable. I'm always extra cautious as I don't wanna fry one of the 701s in these things. Thanks in advance!

did you talk to Hamptone? I did and he wanted me to send my old ones in and pay to have them converted. Then he mentioned the potential of it being wired wrong and damaging the mic. I don't really want to modify the original cables so I am looking for another solution. He doesn't offer brand new cables with adapters.

Hey Wiggy long time, give Shoot REDCO a quick email if you have the pin out from Hamptone they should be able to help!

Pro Audio LA also builds custom cables on request. Will vouch for Pro Audio LA. Everything (and that's a lot) I've ever purchased from them has been perfect and they are very easy to deal with!
