It’s got a pretty GUI for sure.
If the sound matches the good looks it will be a useful plugin.
It’s not like hardware like this affordable, let alone having the space in a rack!

Demo'd last night. Definitely lots of color and vibe. Would typically be special use for me. I like Kazrog stuff so I may grab it... we'll see.

This plugin sounds really nice ! A lot of color but you can use it on many sources (thanks to the dry/wet and warmth knobs in the hidden feature panel).

What is that? A federal? Doesn't look like RCA. The MHB logo kind of looks like an RCA style logo though.

The only hits you get on Google have to have Brauer in the name. This search brings up nothing. AWA "g7201" -brauer After a few search gymnastics I found this barest mention pastebin.com/kuH9fFHF And it equates it with a G54639. Even GroupDIY and old gear databases don't seem to have it listed. Curiosity is piqued and spidey sense is tingling.

ooh - I used to own one of these AWA's - incredible vocal compressor, like a Sta Level but more air, and bigger. Might have to get this. If they did it right, then this should be killer sounding.

Otherwise, I've never heard anyone else mention it.

I really like this one. The distortion is wild but pretty satisfying. The AWA compressors go for crazy money so it's definitely one of the cooler unobtanium things that could've been modeled. Yes, they're Australian, heavy duty, tons of iron, like a lot of the classic UK and US American tube stuff. reverb.com/item/83205268-michael-brauer-collection-awa-g7201-compressor

Mixing with Mike gives a short history of the comp at the beginning of video

Weirdly, this emulation is very dirty compared to the AWA I used for around 15 years. I also used to be able to push my AWA a lot hotter than this, without silly amounts of tube distortion. I know Michael modded his AWA to suit his aesthetic, and this represents his modded version - not the sonics of the original.
Between this and Mixwave Level, I think I'm going to go with Level, I would get much more use out of it.

Ooof. No. Dude. Don't do that. Abysmal skeuomorphic non-functionality! A massive bakelite fake-ass knob that takes up significant real estate that does (apparently) absolutely. nothing. Timestamp 1:58. Does the knob turn? or it just sits there and looks pretty? My god, what have we come to?
And, MHB dude (according to Mike's history) found some rarified predecessor (for which there is ZERO model info, ZERO schematics across all reputable archaic and repair gear sites) of a rarified piece (for which there is also ZERO model info, ZERO schematics across all reputable archaic and repair gear sites) and enticed the sole owner to part with it?
Then, MHB modded it and it rocked on a Coldplay track and is now a pluggo?
I like Kazrog, I own KClip (who doesn't), True Iron (insanely good saturation itb) and True Dynamics (cool, functional, ultimately not my vibe).
But this smacks of MHB-esque-ism. I respect MHB accomplishments, and I've learned from his offerings. But, I'm not keen on skeuomorphic analog emulations for which no one can actually ascertain the degree to which the emulation is genuinely genuine.
Seems convenient doesn't it? Who has actually heard one to say that this emu isn't at least somewhat accurate? So... no naysayers allowed?
"If it sounds good, it sounds good"?
Sure.
How about modeling any number of incredible gears out there that aren't affixed to the moniker of a famous MHB(R) simply becasue they are affixed to the moniker of MHB(R)?
But then the acronym MHB need not be firmly affixed to it. And, we don't have to have a big garish green plate hogging out screen.
We could just have AWESOME sound.
But, that doesn't sell as well as MHB and a mythical beast of a device.
