assuming you mean underneath. I have 2 sets of monitors. On one set I am using the RAB Audio Pro Jax 40, and on the other I am using Auralex ProPod Lite. There is a significant difference vs. none. I previously had some knock-off foam isolators under one set (more as a height adjustment) and they actually made everything sound worse - I put them in the trash. These rubber - excuse me - acoustic polymer isolators... are much better.

Primacoustic Recoil Stabilizers. They made a night and day difference on my old monitors, and I kept them around when I upgraded.

I have had really good success with the ISOAcoustic stands compared to so many others from days past. It is evident both in my ears and in a room measurement reading.
If you have been around a bit, you certainly know Ethan - this test is old, and was flawed in many ways but It had some relevance or a general interest a decade ago. - ethanwiner.com/speaker_isolation.htm
But in all audio, in my opinion, it is a matter of inches not feet. 1,2 3 db improvement, repeated in as many areas as possible.

Nothing the Questeds are heavy enough to simply mass couple.

and some heavy brick under my monitor for years. can‘t tell if it works, did no scientific tests bit it seems to sound alright. mixes translate well. I used to use just heavy patio bricks (sitting on top of some 19" racks) to decouple my monitors - and it works pretty well because it's significant mass. The acoustic isolators (anything but foam) do improve it even more. Most tightened up the low end for me. |

Isoacoustics ISO stands on top of freestanding speaker stands. Made a measurable difference in my studio.

In my tiny studio I have a solid concrete floor, and my 1-metre high monitor stands are set on this via spiked feet. The only small amount of isolation I use is three tiny lumps of Blutak sticking my loudspeakers to the top of those stands.
Monitor isolation is only really needed when your loudspeakers are placed on a resonant structure such as a desk, or when your floor-mounting monitor stands are placed on a resonant structure like a floating wooden floor. It then decouples the loudspeakers, so that no vibrations travel between the two.

Oh that could be great, thx, but let’s check shipping first as I-have seen some used ones. My speakers are smallish, like Adam a7 size.
