Now that's pretty funny. It does feel like she's jumping the shark, doesn't it?

Her album 1989 is #1 on the Billboard 200 for the third week running; this song peaked at #48 on the Hot 100 chart. Not my type of music, but I'll take it over Bro Country any day. Beautiful and talented women tend to weaken my knees.

if only poor taylor could come out of her shell, develop some stage presence and focus on delivery; WTF? does live get any better !
How processed is the mix we are hearing cus the actual performance seems perfect and I mean that as a compliment.

I guess on tour the rest of the band can take a tea break during this song. Overall not bad though.

I have defended her in the past, but this is weak in my opinion.

I have defended her in the past, but this is weak in my opinion. Yes, it is weak, IMHO. Maybe it will turn out to be "not one of her best" when looking at her entire career, which I expect to be long and full of releases. I bet she still will be making music as an old woman, 50 years from now.

She's catering to the young crowd while she's young. It's my theory she'll eventually go back to Country.

Unless the fans turn on her. She could be one to wear out her welcome with pop culture. It's funny how that can work. Seems to me, many acts go through mid-career doldrums because of over-exposure or failure to adapt to changing taste, only to experience a resurgence when their original fan base grows older and returns for largely nostalgic reasons.

I only watched it once, but I'm pretty sure I saw one of the BV's moving her mouth ..and there was no sound (on the right). The BV's sound overdubbed.

It didn't bug me. Great pop production. No way in hell that was live but I don't think the pop audience cares about that stuff anyway.

I have noticed a fair bit recently that what appears to be live sound off the floor seems very very well processed to me. did you see Tears for Fears recently; same live but very processed; you really notice on the vocals; zero dynamic range
