This is not exactly "off topic," but there is no "good news" sub-forum. Anyway...
My band's second album, which came out this October, and was recorded, mixed, and mastered by yours truly, has made it into two prominent "best of" year-end lists so far. It made Decibel Magazine's Top 40 at #3, and Stereogum's Top 50 at #38 (this list seems to be all music genres, so that's pretty sweet. I only see a few metal albums)

I'm pretty excited. Number 2 in the Decibel list is a band I grew up listening to, so it's crazy to be listed right there with them.
