Played a lot of DADGAD and open G in the last decade. Had to pick a song up for a student today. This one is some kind of funny. Can be heard as some kind of D7/9 without the #F you should think the G (sus4) would disturb. But no its an very inspiring open tuning. I also could interpret the chord different but ....shy. Use you ears, trust them and write a nice song with it..... Share some other tunings you like, or show us some you created yourself.

DADGBD was my go-to back in the day, but I've written for DADF#BE (a lute tuning I believe), and also one for DADGBbD, which was somewhat restrictive as I recall, but created an easy minor to major palate.
