I am suspicious that the t-pad attenuator on my 1176 build is not attenuating enough. How can I check it?

How can I check it? sorry is this is a painfully obvious, noob question! pace Hi pace, putting my fluke leads across pcb + pad output, and + pad input, i get an average (3 tested), 1.089k fully attenuated, and 0.4 wide open on my t-pads. these are t-pads soldered to the mini pcbs, and not installed. hope this helps T

You'll have to remove them to measure. In-circuit measurement will result in strange readings due to the other stuff in the circuit. The numbers that Tony reports look reasonable.

Well, thanks to your suggestions I removed the t pad to find that it was not correctly soldered at two of the terminals. Res oldering has solved all of my problems. I feel like an idiot of course. A good example how you have to be very methodical in building DIY to avoid problems.
