Eh...it's a Tape Op review...I remember people talking about the Studio Projects C1 sounding exactly like a U87...
I've used one to take paint off the walls.

Eh...it's a Tape Op review...I remember people talking about the Studio Projects C1 sounding exactly like a U87... I've used one to take paint off the walls. Which is true . I think it was the Rode NT1 , not sure though , but it was a Rode mic and they said if you can't afford a U87 , get the Rode . I got the Rode and it Sucked Ass !! Not even close to a U87 . but other reviews on TapeOp where correct . I guess it depends on whos giving the review .

I guess it depends on whos giving the review . Or how much the manufacturer decided to pump into advertising that month... I trust those little customer feedback reviews on sites more than I'd trust a mag article/review. It is true though that every piece of gear no matter how good or crappy can serve a purpose, especially for those on a budget.
