I got an AT4033 for $100, a great utility microphone. I used one on upright bass on a session a few weeks ago and was really shocked at how much I liked it. Used it on outside kick today and it was cool.
And more stupid drums haha

Nice tip, I just ordered one. One of my most used tools, should be better for tight spots I hope than my regular dykes.
Presonus DP88 - wow, better conversion than my silver Apollo. Spectacular piece of gear, great price. My new workhorse. Now I just want a Studio 192. Axon 2.2 uF capacitor - extened the low end on my "251" very nicely from the 1.5 uF. MXL R80 ribbon - killer on drums, good on guitar and bass. A reall all-arounder. Paid $50 new on April Fools sale from GC. Focusrite 18i8 - this will be my traveling/mobile interface along with my Tascam UH-7000. Really good low end interface. Fretwork on my Guild Starfire II and P bass - priceless. Taylor 114e - cherry picked from four they had at GC. My new go-to guitar. Mind blowingly good. 'Super White' Auto Wah DIY plus my own mods - my new favorite filter for guitar, love it. right onto the pedalboard. Windows 10 for my DAW - Free. The only Windows OS I want to use any more. Fabfilter Pro-L - Free from gearslutz!! My go-to master limiter

The UH-7000 will get used on critical tracks that need more location like lead vocals and drum overheads. The clarity is just happening. The Scarlett will be able to handle guitar and bass, drum close mics, etc. The main thing about it is it just has so many inputs and it sounds pretty decent. I might even switch to two UH-7000s eventually if 4x4 is enough for my projects.

I think the UH-7000 is one of the best pieces of gear of all time, and one of the greatest values in pro audio. The fact that you can get them for $300 on eBay is blowing my mind. It's my main DAC for listening, and I use the mic preamps and ADC all the time, next to any of my best conversion.

The Tascam is my monitoring DAC at home and in the office.

I haven't actually received them yet, but I just won a pair of Symetrix 501 comps on ebay for $280... they're the original silver toggle switch version with the valley people vca. Looking forward to trying them out. I hear they're great on bass..... curious about other applications...

Nice on bass for sure, but also pretty decent on anything where you want that sort of thick VCA sound. I don't know how to describe it, but I wish I had two instead of just the one. The blue ones don't sound the same, I would stick to the grey or dark grey ones.

Cool --- I've got a lot of VCA compressors, but I'm hoping this will be different enough to be useful..... from what I've read, it should be!

One of the consoles is a Series 40 fitted with Valley Transamp micpre's. I should rack some of these up as they were pretty decent sounding micpre's.

Some cymbals, Paiste Giant Beat 15" hi-hats and 18" Multi. Going to hopefully grab a Traditional Light ride soon when I come across the right deal. I'm really digging thin cymbals in the studio.
I'm probably going to pull the trigger on a pair of VP28's today to replace the pair I traded

And of course VP28's are out of stock again!

Ha. Come here to post this and I gotta follow this guy ^^^^ ? I just picked up these RAMSA boards for $50 each. Gonna be fun to mess around with. I often prefer even cheap analog to digital emulations. 20 mic pres and EQs and two options to mess with for summing/stems. Not bad for a hundred bucks.
