Whoa, 800 dollar epiphone... hell, if the only thing saying epiphone on that is the truss rod cover... and dot inlays. I hate dot inlays on a Gibson.
I routed my firebird V to put a 498T in it. I took all the value out of the thing when I lit the finish on fire with the soldering iron on the back side, back when I didn't know shit about soldering.
I coulda saved a thousand dollars and modded an epi and changed out the truss plate. At least I'll always own one guitar though.

Epiphone's these days are awesome - I don't understand the company's philosophy - your cheaper guitars should not be this good. Still - need a telecaster for country though ( unless you're Albert Lee )
