A Guitar Student did ask me what to do if he cant afford a real Fender Amp. At my retailer I came across this 30 Euro Pedal.
The output was surprising me - a lot. I did this video for you, and for my students....
Stratocaster > PEDAL > 1073 > CAB IR > Compression > Desk.
It reminds me on a twin reverb....

I have one,it's a fun little pedal. I've used it quite a few times to play in small clubs where I couldn't take my amp and spring reverb. I'd just plug this into a malekko spring pedal and DI it to the PA and got some pretty decent tones, far better than using a pod as far as sound and playing dynamics. I've also used it as an overdrive for my AC30 and got a pretty cool tone.
From what I understand it's a Chinese rip off of the Fender TECH21 pedal.

That is new for me my home based retailer told me its OEM ware so you can buy it with different brands. Yes I was surprised too.... its maybe not exactly like an amp but as you said - the dynamics and the overall base string feel is 1000 times better vs. simulation plug ins. Is that true with the Rip off?

Is that true with the Rip off? I have the Joyo version of the pedal which is identical to yours. These pedals are clones of the Tech 21 Blonde circuit. The controls are identical and the character is very similar, but I actually like the Joyo better. It sounds a little smaller but actually fits in mixes better. I use this pedal when I'm writing at home. I've tried pretty much every amp sim plug in and I'd rather use this for demos...

We have a similar taste, jupp writing was at my mind too because I get an approximation of the real amps. I also found its great for doing foolish experiments with fx plug ins. I find myself the tendency to use the EQ because it can sound very midrange heavy like a small speaker... Also intresting for fast and easy tracking it is the Palmer Pocket Amp....with line out.... www.palmer-germany.com/mi/en/POCKET-AMP-MK-2-Portable-Guitar-Preamp-PEPAMPMKII.htm

I had a Palmer Drei on loan recently and man is that a fun little amp! 3 tubes and endless tonal options. I'm a fan of really simple circuits, My main amp is a 63 fender brownface which is kind of a poor man's 57 deluxe and I thought that Palmer was awesome. It's nice to see a new amp that offers something truly different.

I did play a little bit more around with the American Pedal to my taste the clean sound reminds me more on Fenders...Mike Stern alike in no time, but the more distorted are less likeable. Great is also that I can have with Voice and Drive different kind of distortion / amps...
