Cool, the Russians have caught up with the 70's Been arguing with myself about buying a Damage Control Womaniser pedal listed locally - these were like the Cadillac's of pedals in their day , I was always too broke to get one. Now I wonder if it's just nostalgia ..

Omg. These pedals. Orion voyager Sputnik He makes cool pedals, but they are a bit elitist. As in, super expensive. Well built, for sure. But sometimes your talking upwards of $500 or more for a pedal. I mean, sure they sound good, but so do Analogman pedals and a dozen other makers. It's a boutique market, and I think these are crafted as much for the collector, maybe more.

Wow. You guys are not into them as much as I am. I haven't heard a fuzz pedal that does what the Sputnik does. Particularly that gated disintegration. They are expensive...

Omg. These pedals. Orion voyager Sputnik I had a Saturn V. Thing was really cool. Could have been amazing if I didn't full on suck as a guitarist.

Reminds me of one of my favorite bands: Jellyfish.

I have the Spaceman Saturn V #84, it's got a GREAT attitude, but doesn't really suit my playing style. I actually use very little drive or distortion. I ask pedal companies to make me versions that have less drive and more clean gain.
I'd sell it if someone makes me an offer.

They're as rare as hen's teeth now... which is why I see them selling for $400 on the bay and verb sites, instead of close to the $219 they originally sold for.
Is the company defunct now?

You know where I heard about these was a video posted on this forum. It was the Vance Powell recording rock video. The guitar solo had a Sputnik on it. When I heard the sound of that thing I was doomed.
