Hey dudes.
Do any of you have a recc for a decent child's guitar? My little boy is about to turn three and he's obsessed with music and gear. I mean, really obsessed. He carries around a bag of pedals and cords and a little mixer and hooks them up and unhooks them. He can tell you which cables are balanced, unbalanced, 1/4", XLR, etc...he runs cords into his toy chest and announces that it's his "isolation cabinet". He makes astute observations when we're listening to tunes (hears a picked 12 string Rickenbacker "dada! This is very similar to "Into the Great Wide Open"!).
Anyway. I want to get him a little guitar. I'm not looking for something amazing, just not a useless toy. I have seen childrens' guitars a few times that were of course cheap, but still playable.
Wondered if any of you have any insight?

I started three of my kids on a Squire MINI Strat ad it worked out well for all three of them
(sorry, forgot the mini part which I believe brings it down to half-scale)

If you want to go acoustic, start him on a kids uke.
