Was listening to this old song ( originally written around 1898! ) and it struck me at just how beautiful a recording this is ( to my ears at least). Far as I can tell it was Fred Meijer at Dublin's Lombard studios. There's a definite hierarchy allocated to all the instruments / vox and the clarity of all is stunning. Kills me ....

Only listened on my computer, and it does sound fantastic! The reverb is interesting, I wonder if it's the room sound or a Lexicon or Bricasti. The track is kind of magical.

Lombard studios no longer exist, wonder if a lot of it was the room? In those days maybe Lex or Yam? Perhaps EMT plate?
