It's kind of difficult to simulate a 'bad' tube, an incorrect voltage, a bleeding cap, a dodgy transformer (robot in disguise) or any other component that creates a magical tone as it's dying, but maybe someone will figure that out someday soon also. Ward, if you just profile that very amp with the Kemper, you'll have that sound, anytime. Thanks Don. Clearly, sometimes I'm afraid of change. LOL

Dang, that's too good. It's not on my radar or in my budget, but now I want one..

When is that new software coming out for rig manager? Has anyone heard anything on that?

I bought my Kemper used and it had a ton of stuff on it, MBritt stuff and The Amp Facotry stuff, both good. I've picked up a couple more Britt packs and some Tone Junkie stuff.
Lately, I've been running out of my Kemper into a Coil Audio CA-70s (driving the line input a bit) -> into a Zulu -> CAPT BT50.

There are specific ones I like. There’s an Mbritt Princeton that sounds freaking fantastic. I’ll be glad to send you a few. The TJ Super Reverb is really good. There’s a Supro 1624t from The Amp Factory. Another good AC30 from them called Topboost I think. Britt also has a Deluxe called 69 Luxe I think. Great. A 74 Champ through a 3rd P cab. There’s also some good Marshall stuff though I don’t gravitate to it. With Mbritt try the Vintage Pack Tone Junkies - Ace 30/6 for $10 is great. Stu G AC30, 67 Supery Verb

I'm dialed up on the 67 Supery Verb right now! Good stuff.

I finally gave in to the temptation and bought a Kemper which arrived last week. I dig it even as an old tube snob :-) Looking forward to profiling my amps. Actually, if you have good profiles it sounds great and incredibly easy for recording. My plan is to search their Rig Exchange first then pick up some MBritt profiles, etc.
The new Tone Junkie XL profiles that at the start of this thread do sound very good.

I think I got a Matchless Spitfire in the rig exchange that I love. But it’s an ocean to find decent ones. Start with some a la cartel Amp Factory stuff. They’re like $6 apiece.

I actually might like this better than that Stu vox pack. Yeah the StuG Vox is kind of a niche thing. There are some killer profiles they’re doing.

I've always been a fan of Matchless amps yet have never owned one. Go figure. These profiles sound great.

It sounds a lot like my Dr Z Stingray with a little hair on it with the Hermida Zendrive version 1 going to a 2x12 Celestion Blue(not made in China)& Creamback...Only with less dynamics from the Kemper, and the tone knob is killer between the tone control on the guitar and the tone knob on the amp, and any tone in between within a few seconds at an arms reach of tweaking.
I have a Kemper, however I haven't been using it as much as of late. I'm patiently waiting for that new software update to come out. I'm still an amp with tubes kind of guy. In fact, I'm looking at a new Modded Custom Marshall amp! I'm on the fence of selling the kemper to get a new amp.
Sorry, the real thing always gets in the way!

I was hoping THANKYOU did something too...but apparently not. Ha! Tried the same thing as well. That AC pack is so good. Digging it way more than I thought I would. The Park is sweet as well. The Stu G stuff might be my new favorites.
