Does this include everything? Have you built their stuff before? How difficult are their builds?

Does this include everything? Have you built their stuff before? How difficult are their builds? Does not include everything. Only comes with pcbs, full case with faceplate, and power toroid. All documentation is there to download the bom and you have to source the parts. So a bit more involved than most diy kits. I have not built anything yet but am ordering the BX2, MB2, MQ5 today.

Ordered my kits. BX2 doesn't ship till end of may so be early June I bet till I see any of them. Then have to buy all the parts for everything. Probably do the BX2 and MB2 first as they will be much less time consuming and expensive compared to buying 10 Elma switches..

I've ordered the BX2 as well - I can't wait. I was actually searching for a decent DIY stereo Baxandall curve the week this was announced so v. excited!
I built the DR-609 from DIY-Racked which is great and now sits on my mix buss as well as seeing heavy use while tracking so if the BX is comparable in build quality I'm sure we'll all be pleased!

Awesome! All the photos of their kits look great. I'm hoping to use them for mastering. Going to tweak the MB2 to all stepped controls and the BX2 as well.

I think the BX2 can be stepped easily from what Tat's been saying on Facebook? I'd definitely be looking into that too...

Anything with a pot can be stepped, but not necessarily vice versa.

The freq selection will be stepped already Im sure so the gain knobs will probably be 10k linear pots so it'll be easy to add a 21-47 stepped pot to them however you like.

Do these kits come with everything needed? Seems crazy cheap.

Do these kits come with everything needed? Seems crazy cheap. No. None of their kits do. Only the case, faceplate, power toleroid, PCBs and the BOM. you have to source you're own parts. The pre order in the BX2 does come with two Quad 8 style op amps too though. Not sure if it's just PCBs or full kits on those though

Interested in that BX2! I only have the plugin but I like it a lot. Let us know how it goes. I'm currently building the DR-PQ8.

I'm still waiting to receive my boards for everything. Guessing customs is taking a lot time..
I have seen photos of about 3 out in the wild though.

Nice! I already have the case, but the boards are still travelling.
Now I am having fun with matching the zener diodes. This week got a bag of old reclaimed Fairchild 1N741A. Gone through 40 and have 3 matches so far. One more to find :-)
