I was not surprised by the RIG Player at the release day.
Seems it has a lot to do with qualtiy with the loaded IRs.
Now Slate came out with three super cool IRs. One is the Fender Champ.
I am blown away since hours. It reminds me so much on the tone Julian Lage has on his small tweed Amp - I assume he uses a Champ. Never owned a Champ myself but this ist the first Amp Sim that makes me feel not to touch a real amp anymore.
It late I go to sleep now but here is a short sample for you. I love it and I hope SL will bring out more top IRs for the RIG-Player.

Not to sound lime an Overloud fanboi but yeah, those models are ridiculous. The ABs are by far the closest I’ve ever heard and playing the things feels like playing a mic’d amp. Dying for them to profile some lower gain tones.

I wish they had more great profiles the standard ones do not sound good to me. I also ask myself how hard it is to do own profiles to get a feeling for the process and for knowing how close they are. Is there no difference in blind AB...that would be great news for me and my left leg...
