here you go watchtower: www.gearslutz.com/board/gear-shoot-outs-sound-file-comparisons-audio-tests/701551-little-blondie-vs-neuman-u87-shoot-out.htmlyes, it's funny, Martin's are the only one of the guitars you mentioned with a big low end. Gibson's Jumbo's have it. I'm sure some of the boutique brands have it too, Collings, Larivee, maybe. If you found a gem, keep it. Once at a Sam Ash store, I didn't buy a Martin single cutaway, I forget the exact model, but it was something-16. and it had the finest amplified acoustic sound I'd ever heard, and it was only $1,400. I should have bought it then, just didn't have the cash at the time. Should have charged it.

I spoke to Scott about having him build me a 000 type guitar. It's gonna happen!

It isn't all that but I do have an interesting acoustic. It is a Craviola. It's tear drop shaped and is certainly unique, quite quiet and no fun to bang on. But, it does have a great feel and when played quietly, sounds decent.
The only pro I have heard of using one was Jimmy Page and it was said that he used one fr stairway to heaven.
