Does anyone ever do this?
Yesterday, no bourbon or any kind of whiskey. I'm not a savage, I had wine with supper . . . but no bourbon.

Yeah I’ve never been an everyday drinker...but do it with gusto when I do. Problem is in the pandemic, there’s been less reason not to drink lol. Had to take a little break.

I live with someone with clinical depression, so we do three dry months a year here . . . February, July and November. Daily drinking can lead to belly weight, liver disease, circulatory issues and belly weight gain...and eventually, alcoholism. It's good to keep it in moderation. Dry days are often, of course!

Wife and I do 2 dry months every year. It’s usually a moving target for when it will be, but we make it happen.

I've found that since I retired from the corporate world that drink much, much less, maybe an ounce or two a couple times a week. We also moved to Colorado, so supplementing with herbal remedies could have something to do with that.

A buddy and I are figuring out how to make an 'herbal' mountain brandy! He has a lovely copperpot.
